What is the Play Like Pi Foundation?
The Play Like Pi Foundation is a 501c organization committed to giving disadvantaged young girls an opportunity to play and succeed playing softball. By providing scholarships through donations and free training, Play Like Pi helps our future all stars find a way onto the softball diamond.
Where does the money go?
All funds raised by Play Like Pi goto support young, disadvantaged girls play softball in the form of league scholarships or retail sporting goods gift cards for equipment.
Who can apply? How can I apply?
Disadvantage families with children interested in playing softball are encouraged to apply for scholarships and gear via the Apply Webform on the PlayLikePi.org website: http://www.playlikepi.org/home/playlikepifoundation/apply/
Disadvantaged is defined as unfavorable circumstances, especially with regard to financial or social opportunities.
What can awarded funds be used for?
Selected families may use the provided funds for league fees and equipment. We will coordinate the payment of league fees directly with your league or team and provide gift cards to your local sporting goods store.
How can I help?
Donations are always welcome via the Play Like Pi Go Fund Me account but equally important is getting the word out. Please share the Play Like Pi cause with teammates, coaches, friends and family.
